It began with José Kaplan, M.D., born in 1898. He practiced general medicine, neurology, and psychiatry, reflecting a comprehensive approach that remains a cornerstone of Kaplan Medical Group’s philosophy today.
His son, Alberto Kaplan, M.D., born in 1923, trained at Johns Hopkins University and became a renowned neurosurgeon and neurologist. His wife, Ana Kaplan, M.D., born in 1928, practiced child psychoanalysis in Argentina.
Dr. Gabriel Kaplan, MD, trained at Cornell University Medical School. He is involved in research, clinical practice, and hospital administration. Currently, he is KMG’s Medical Director.
